Mini split location

Hola!

so I'm putting together this new room. 6. Nanolux DE 1000. 36,000 BTU mini split… CO2 yada yada yada. Anyways my question is this AC set in a good area for this room. 18lx10wx9h if you have any other questions or need any other info let me know. It's Facing length of room

Looks great! What type of reflector is that?

Think it's be better off around the height where your plants would be instead of over the tops of your lights. Basically turning it into a heater.

Those are the Holman hobby 4 x 4 reflectors for nano look those are the home and hobby 4 x 4 reflectors for nanolux

I kind of thought the same thing but I was trying to trick myself into making all the hot air that rises cooler and then circulate it to the room to make the whole roof the same temperature Makes sense? If I move it down a couple feet I probably would have a perfect space in between the hood and the canopy but I think all the cold air Orchard so hot so fast it won't make it to the other end ?

These reflectors are better for smaller Gardens less light loss titers fo these reflectors are better for smaller gardens less ligh loss. It throws a 4x4 @ 24 inches over canopy. But trust me if you put them at 24 everything will fry. The commercial nano throws a 134 degree these throw in 86 degree angle. Have 5 settings. on the ballasts 600 685 750 1000 1200

that placement is fine, it draws the hot air in from the top and the cold air comes out the bottom. The placement of the outside unit is more important,IMHO, and i have a HVAC contractors license.

Thank you! The outside unit will be placed in an open area covered from every weagher. It has ample space around it. I mean there is no obstructions

You can also run an inlet fan pulling outside air in along the floor inbetween your plants... it will bring fresh cool air in a a fraction of the cost.

DE 4×4 FIXTURE

DO NOT USE DE COMMERICAL REFLECTORS OVER SMALLER GROWS.

We at Nanolux have found that there is a large unfortunate misuse of commercial DE fixtures in smaller horticultural grows. Consumers have to realize that one of the largest features of commercial open DE fixtures is their large light footprint allowing for “commercial overlap”. The light spread on a commercial DE fixture is about 13’ wide which is not practical if you are growing over a 4’ x4’ tray. The DEFNC 4×4 fixture is designed to produce vertical light penetration over a 4’ x 4’ tray. The reflector is designed to have ALL of the available light fall onto a 4’ x 4’ grid at a 24” install height over the canopy top. There is no stray light falling up to 5’ to each side of the tray as would be the case with our commercial DE fixture. This has been the reason that we have NOT offered our commercial DE fixtures in 120V. The DEFNC 4×4 comes with a NCCS compatible, 120/240V fan style DE high frequency ballast.

This room is completely sealed environment no air and no air out ever

I have gavitas, I have sold nano's to a lot of customers and they are stoked on them. I would have got them, but I got the gavitas before nano did DE. Also, I have been running a solis tek 10,000K de bulb the last 2 weeks of flower and it absolutely kills it. the frost,terps and colors are amazing and the high is way better.

Ive used them, not with that particular reflector, but with this one. Gave me a huge yield with a low yielding strain with almost 5 weeks veg. Pic 1 is day 1 of flower and pic 2 is 5 of flower. Running a 9 week og.

Here is what it looks like today. Still need to put my CO2 tubing, tank and dehumidifiers. Where I'm standing there will be a wall in front of me with 2. More fans and I would actually be standing in my veg room.
