Miracle Gro Seafeed; mistake ?

I'm just prepping to start growing, seeds are on their way. Got a grow tent, I will be growing 2 plants in there. I have premium soil for the plants. Today while I was looking for plant food, I wasn't too sure what I should be getting so I got miracle gro seafeed. Is this stuff ok or is it junk? I've read it's not that great..... Appreciate any recommendations ;-)

you can get away with it but its not very good at all if your spending money on the seeds you should get deccent fertilizers I'm runnning advanced jungle juice 3 part it seems just fine

and with premium soil I would get atleast good fertilizer you can't blow your money on everything else just to buy cheap fertilizer

you should go all organic if you dont order off the net or just use what you got they need more nitrogen in veg and more p and k for flowering

Miracle grow will work but its easy to overfeed using it. If this is your 1st grow and you want something that is just going to work without you thinking. Then use another Scott's product Osmocote controlled release fert. In the US we have a different product line but Scotts Australia has many different products. I'd try this "ONE" .

Just mix in 1 1/4 tablespoon of osmocote per gal of soil. Then just water. It's the best off the shelf fert I've found

I was wondering about that, I've never seen MG Seafeed here in the states, a Google search kept pointing to Aussie sites (that were broken btw).

This is a one time event. The ferts slowly release over a 6 month period.
Just adjust the ph of your water (6.4 to 6.8 in soil) and your golden.
I add a couple of supplements but they aren't necessary. You can add a bloom enhancer during the last half of flower but only at reduced levels, the amount is strain dependent, some strains love food and others can't take overfeeding.
