Miracle-Gro Soil?

This my first grow and I use MG... Strain:white widow mostly indica... So far 5 days into flowering and I have no complaints about MG... Here is today's pic

Also I'm using a cheap fertilizer... 20/20/20 plant prod with micro nutrients all purpose water soluble off the rack $10.00

Out of curiosity, which MG soil did you use? I read thru the thread and it's the one thing I didn't see.

I recently drove the 70 miles to the closest hydro shop and bought a bag of FFoF. Haven't used it yet, but I want to try it. Been using MG Peat Moss mixed with MG Perlite and generic Vermiculite with some success I think .

I think I'm going to try an experiment and run three beans of the same strain using 3 different soil mediums. My current one, FFoF and whichever soil you used for the thread you mentioned. Just want to see the difference in taste and yield. I love experimenting.

*EDIT* By the way, that bud you grew under the CFL's with MG is one of the most beautiful looking things I've ever seen LOL

This is a weed folks. I get ram rodded for speaking about AN also. Haters will hate. Knowing what your plants want and like is key to growing this fine herb. Soils or mediums are just another tool for the grower.

Pick up a couple of meters, ppm and ph, use them in conjunction with your soil run off and when mixing your solutions and you can't go wrong.

Pro-mix is a great product, if your still planning on vegging with MG then transplanting into something like a soiless product would work.

Thanks bro....used mg moisture control w bout 40-50% per lite....

why stress your plants with transplanting it seems like it would be a better bet to put it in one decent pot for the whole grow i am using miracle grow soil and my plants are doing fine just my 2 cents for whatever thats worth

MG soil will grow marijuanna fine but its pretty touchy and ALOT of people burn plants using it so overall its a good choice to not use it.

as far as fox farm ocean forest being too hot i have been using it for my seedlings and yet to have a problem. 100% fox farm ocean forest amended with some perilite, lime and Espoma garden tone

I was just about to ask, when should I start fertss lol.

I have 2 plants in MG SOIL. a Black Russian in 5 gal bucket & a Royal Flush in a small tote. ive being practicing different methods on them as well as additivesreally just wanted to do a lil bending & tying down.

Black Russian . vegged for about 2 months, now in 3rd week of flower & looking pretty good. sing the floranova 3 part that cme with my waterfarm although im in soil, along with bloombastic that im trying in soil for the 1st time.

Royal Flush....vegged for about 2 months,1st shots are from a couple days ago & then shots from last night rite after a stripped her bare. this will make about the 3rd time ive done this to her. this time i will be flowering after giving her a week or so to recoop. . dont worry, she wil bunce rite back. as a matter of fact she is looking better already this morning.

As far as MG goes, jus use the seedling starter mix. Has less ferts in it.
