F*** MG:hump: that stuff is not good for weed, you will have all kinds of problems. I'm on my 2nd grow and I use Fox Farm ocean forest,mix with about 30% warrior. Have gotten great results :) but add nutes weak as the soil already has alot of nutes to get you through for 4-5 weeks. Good luck man

thats cuz you realy truly don't know how to use it. its good stuff and yes there is a lot better stuff out their. but for the grower that don't have the funds for the best shit out their then MG will produce a beutifull plant, as long as you no what you are doing. now MG bloom nutes i would stay away from.:hump: im very happy with all my monster plant grows,allwith MG.

It's funny how these MG threads always end up with lame insults. Basically what you said further proved my point then to further back up your claim you spit out some lame insult. Ironically, resorting to insults instead of providing a solid rebuttal to my claims is a sign of lack of intelligence in itself; or in the very least a less-than-solid argument. Considering your argument is actually the exact same as mine, noobies tend to mess things up, I'm going to have to go with the former.

Anyhow, how about just stating your opinion and leaving it at that? It's actually pretty absurd you're arguing against having a solid foundation to improve your odds of a successful grow. You even admit MG isn't the most solid foundation as stated here:

You actually managed to contradict yourself in these two posts. First you say "it's the shit" then suddenly "There's far better shit out there". Again, this is the exact argument I originally made. It takes an experienced grower to use MG and even then, it isn't the best starting point. Anyhow, have a good one and have a smoke; you seem a bit testy. :)

Getting back on topic with the OP, hopefully you've got enough info to make an informed decision. Obviously, as mygirls has already stated, don't start feeding them too early regardless of the nutes you choose!

it is the shit, what there can't be better. i have found that it is the best shit for some one that can not afford even better. so i really don't see were i conradict myself. and why is every one saying im testy because i have my own oppinions on growing. don't we all. fuck im happy as hell.:hump:

im 10 days in on one plant and have been using it at a really low amount and mine is doing fine check out my post and setup

so the bottom line is that you only use it if you cant spring for something better. and then stay away from the bloom stuff.

The MG bloom does have it's uses; I duck taped a couple CFL's and a plugin adapter to the MG box to use it as a stand for side lighting to supplement my HPS because it's got some good weight to it, LOL.

i too use the ole mg for veg... same one as you evidently... and i also agree not to use their products for flower, but there is no reason to go all expensive on veg nutes.... all they really need for veg is nitrogen, and mg has plenty of that...

i think the problem with miracle grow is that it is the most readily available fertilizer, as such, many first time growers use mg because it is what they know of... not being familiar with growing, they use some and dont see enough results the next day, and then use some more... it is really easy to burn/kill a small plant with some thing as hot as 24-8-16; but at the same time, it is an awesome fert for veg when used right.... i actually started using my earthjuice on my flowers, because i like the miracle grow alot better for my veggies and vegging pot....

a good grower doesnt need a brand name... they just need N, P, & K:hump:
