In my hot little cupboard... I have the plants that will become my Grow Number 4

1 X LEMON SKUNK

1X JACK HERER

1X BANANA JOINT

7X GREATWHITESHARK or possibly EARLY WIDOW (regular seeds - so will have to wait to see - how many females I get)

My last Mission was a very heated Mission - the temps were rising to over 30 degrees celcius... and I tried everything in my power to cool it down but lost 4 of my 7 plants to the heat! :(

NOW I know all about growing in summer* in the south of spain*

So recap! Grow number 1 began last september (2011) and I produced from 13 plants about 300 grams of weed! 2nd Grow began January (2012) and produced from 8 plants about 220 grams of weed! 3rd grow began in April (2012) had 7 plants and lost 4 to extreme heat!

NOW lets get growing!

Damn your fast on starting things up! Just read through your last go around, hopefully high temps won't be a problem this time. Your canopy was extremely even, can't wait to see what you do this round.

phew it is roasting right now!!!!!!!!!!!

Good call, if you get them nice and close small plants shouldn't slow down in growth too much. I'm about to put some monsters in 12/12, not stoked about the bill with a/c!

Yep they are in the cupboard at the mo.... rather than in the grow tent..... if I put them in the tent and then turn on my lovely intake fan..... it pulls in boiling hot air from outside! Aaaaaaa Whatta Nightmare! Next summer I'll make sure me an my plants can take a vacation somewhere coolerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr - like Scotland or Iceland! LOL.........

i also just started my 4th grow and shit in cali we are going through a heat wave, temps are 95 in my tent....aleast they are in veg, so shouldnt be much of an issue

.....yeah ufortunately mine were half way thru flowering when the heatwave hit!!!!!!!...... and they literally started to turn crispyyyyyyy....... and there was nothing I could do....... hardly any humidity at all
- and just HOT HOT HOTTTTTTTT

dont feel bad im growing 2 plants in 1 gal pots right now and i have them vegging slowly under cfls because its too hot to run even my little 150w hps.

outdoors its getting as hot as 102 degrees! (or 38-39 degrees celsius) and indoors its as hot as 30 celsius at the hottest part of the day! this heat is devastating

Yep! that is what I am experiencing......... thank GOD for my CFLS ....... becoz without them I'd be fucko'd....... LOL.......... phew..... it is a scorcher today...... step outside an its feels like someone put you in the oven and wrapped a blanket round yor head!

...this little ones are regular seeds..... from Great White Shark or Early Widow (I am not sure)....but I will be able to tell which when they are bigger!......

....made a discovery.... thrips like it dry!...... no wonder they have been loving it...... time to bring in the wet season........... ;)

...keeping the plants wet.. and covering the top soil with kitchen towel works even better... keeps it wetter... an makes thrip life really really hard! IN * YOUR * FACE * THRIPS *

- - Got 2 more Banana Joint plantitos
- - - Got 2 Black Hole plants
- - - - Am trying to revive my white widow from last grow - since it was the best producer, and made AAAAAAAAAAmazing buds....... but it doesn't look very revegged yet.... but I shan't give up hope.......

Drowing Thrips is so much fun!
But the little fuckers don't drown you gotta flush em'
....Now I am throwing away the little plants....
and repotting the Bigger Feminized ones............. I hope that helps..........

It is almost september! Soon it will be cool enough to GROW AGAIN! Wow I can't stand having an empty grow tent! Its Just Not Right!
