Mistake light schedule flowering

Hi,

This is my first post here after reading the forum for a while.

My setup is a 3x3 tent, initially with 240w quantum led board (yxo yuxinou brand). Yesterday I received another 240w board similar to the first so I installed it and started using it. Now the tent is lighted with 480w (real potency)

The thing is the light on the first panel is set to switch off at 3:00 am and then to turn on again at 3 pm, but the other panel I forgot to put the timer so it kept ON after 3am and today at 9 am I switched it off.

Plants are at flowering stage , starting week 5

would this mistake cause a significant stress on the plants?

This is my second crop.

I'm using advanced nutrients fertilizer base + delta 9 + monster bloom.

That's fine. Better that than having their dark cycle interrupted. Just make sure you leave it off til 9 then carry on

Extending the dark period is much less stress than Accidentally extending the light period.in flower . If it was only for one day you’ll be fine

Thanks for your responses. yeah I didn't mention that.. The plants are 3 clones from feminized seeds (2 Himalaya Gold + 1 Shiva Skunk )

The timer is already set so is a one day mistake. I'll watch them carefully later.

You will be fine the older a plant grown from seed is the less chance of hermie you have and since a clone takes the same age as the parent when it’s cut you will be just fine. I’ve popped thousands of seeds and I’ve had some hermies but I’ve never had a clone hermied on me

Good to know that, thanks ..and what about the opposite? I mean, can u turn hermie a clone if you interrupt with light the night period?

Yes going the other direction your clone could hermie but it’s much less likely than if it was a 2-3 month old feminized seed you were flowering

Thanks, i'll consider this.. I was wondering if carry on taking clones from the clones or switch to seeds for a while.

I’ve popped thousands and thousands of seeds, I only go through the trouble of growing seeds to pheno hunt various strains to find mother plants and then I take my cuttings from her and fill my rooms. Growing from clones is much easier and less time consuming but you have to find the premium phenos. Never run random phenos from seed only do this to test for hermies and look for quality characteristics or your future harvests.

If your happy with the genetics you have in your mom definitely keep taking clones and win. If you want something new or more exotic, find a strain you like order some seeds germinate label each pheno and take cuts from each before you flower your seeds, after they finish look through each one and if you find one you like go back and turn the clones you cut from the one you like and make her your mom and you’ll have identical phenos for your next harvest on a strain you already know you like
