I mist my plants with rain water probably around 4 to 5 times a day...I was wondering if this is to excessive, or If it doesnt really matter.

Thanks

you need to watch out with the rain water dont keep it for too long.... it can get mildewy easily but as long as it is fresh and not run off from the roof you should be all set... rain water is all natural hope that helped any more questions message me peace

I call it TLC. Tender Love and Care.

Generally I mist mine 3 -4 times daily. When they are young, I mist them 5 to 6 times, but lightly. Just know that your temp around your plants drops a bit right after you mist them. It doesn't last for long, but to answer your question, no. It's not too much in my opinion.

I would just say make sure your ph is non acidic and your ppm is naturally low in the water you use.

Also, I forgot to mention that it will be too much during flower. You don't want to invite any mold in. And during flower, I find it best practice to use very nutral water. I even go as far as filtered or bottled. Some water contains more salts then others and can cause break downs within the buds.

I do it once a day, but i mist them till they are soaked. Always move your light away when doing as well, ph should be around the 6 - 7 mark. I also mix some normall ferts in with mine. Another interesting fact is that the plants take in more water on the underneath of the leave where the pore's are bigger.

Very good point. I usually mist underneath the fan leaves in an upward direction for mite prevention purposes as well. Interesting to see that others had the same ideas as I.

yea the best temp. to mist is at 72' when stomata on the under side of the leaves are open. at over 80' they may not even be open.
