I was thinking about buying this box to grow one plant at a time in soil. Would you recommend this box?
The 90 watt light doesn't seem to be enough when you flower. The end result is really fluffy not big dense buds. Other than that it has worked great. No smell light stays in the box.i have since moved to a larger light from California light works. I'm trialling that one out now.

Thanks for the response! I really like the box but I was worried about the 90w led being enough to flower. Which light are you trying from California lights(200w solar flare)? Did you have any problems mounting t inside of the box?

I am interested in the soil misty and was looking at using the HydroGrow SOL 1 (50 watt) which is a amazing LED because I already own it and had been looking into building a better cab and saw these guys (Accelerated Technologies) and the cabs they made and was very much impressed. I was hoping the guy(s) who bought the soil one's would've chimed in more or had a grow journal to go along with what they were saying. I noticed you had purchased a more powerful LED for your newest grow could you please tell me what are the temps that you have now because that SOL1 (50W) runs between 115-125F. I dont want to blow $1k on a box that cannot clear the heat of a LED at the top of the cab RIGHT beside the fucking exhaust! LOL. Thank you in advance for your answer

Newb to the forum here, just thought I would put in my two cents. I bought a Misty box in January, after reading this thread I was concerned about the potential to not flower with the stock light so I called accelerated before buying. They told me about a problem on the earlier mistys, they didn't have enough of an intake hole to support heavy flowering. The updated design has a much larger intake hole than the first ones. I guess the small hole was starving out the plants when they were flowering, I can tell you I just had my first harvest and it rocked, nice hard heavy flowers!!! :bigjoint: Mine also has their new light too, they said it is a step up from the older design. Not sure which one you have, mine has eight way leds and is 90 Watts. Will post some pics when I figure out how...
