Mite Help

so my friend who works at a nursery dropped some white russian and chemdawg clones off to me about two weeks ago now. it looked like the plants had been dunked in something for bugs, but i didnt ask about a bug problem just because i figure with the big setup hes working at its going to happen. i also noticed some dead mites stuck to the bottom of leaves. fast forward to today, and the clones are topped, healthy, and ready to be transplanted into 5 gallon pots from 1gallons. the problem is that i noticed the mites are back and active. i havent seen anything moving on these babies since i got them too. so i just sprayed them all over with spinosad and am going to keep on it every few days or so for the next couple weeks and mix it up with some neem oil and pyrythum spray also. ill also water with neem and maybe some spinosad too.

my question is, does anyone think its worth it to try and kill these suckers before they get out of control and before my plants get any bigger, or do you think i should just get rid of them and clean everything and go get some new, pest free clones from someone else?

depends on how bad you want those strains and if you don't mind the set back of starting over and if you have access to clones readily i would say yeah start over... just a presonal opinion of course and that was what i did when i discovered a mite problem in my grow.

i just had to harvest wayyyy early (7 weeks) in a 12 week strain because i could not get rid of spider mites and all the chemicals i was using to try and get rid of them killed my plants.

seal the room, use co2 tank open it up all the way, make sure the room is sealed the co2 level in the room has to reach 10,000ppm Co2, which will kill all mites and eggs.

thanks for the suggestions everyone. i do have access to clones from friends so i decided to trash my babies and start over. i dont mind the setback i just dont want to start the war and end up losing a couple months in. i love the ladybugs, i threw them into my room last grow while trying to get rid of thrips and gnats, and everything ended up free and clear for the rest of grow. if i had some co2 to use i would, but im broke and limited in my grow area so im just keeping it simple. cleaning everything and starting over next week with some skywalker clones from a friend, which are about the same age as the clones i just threw out. hope all goes well stays pest free.

i would water with neem oil throughout veg to prevent the infestation in your next crop. getting clones from dispensaries is risky business, especially if you happen to be in CO. DON'T BUY FROM THE CLONE STORE!!!!!!! but watering with neem at a rate of 1.5 tsp per gallon of water with 2 tsp castile soap every 2 weeks up to the first 2 weeks of flower should make the plant uninhabitable by the mites. when they bite into the leaves they ingest neem oil which does 2 things; tastes bitter, and throws their hormones out of balance, making them stop eating and mating. make sure the flowering room stays clean, change your clothes before entering your garden (especially if you've been outside or in a garden), and keeps animals and other people out of your garden and you should have a good chance of success in the future. lots more info here
