Mix my own soil or buy it mixed already?

I will be starting my garden as soon as my lights arrive, I was just wondering would it be better to buy a premixed soil or would it be better for the plants if I mixed my own in your opinion? Thanks.

Honestly, you might save a tiny bit of money mixing your own but Fox Farm Ocean Forest is good if your looking a soil that is charged with nutrients.
If you plan on using chem ferts any potting MIX is good as they have no nutrients precharged.
this way your able to completely control the soil and its NPK.
Although any soil you buy adding a little bit of perlite will never hurt:)

so, in my opinion i would just get one already made.
unless you have the time and just want to experiment then go for it!

I add perlite 30%, dolomite and epsom salts..also beneficial bacteria. Bone meal, blood meal in limited quality--. I've used MG organic with fine results. I use GO nutes. FF and Happy Frog are nice but $$$$$.

He is right, dont forget the dolomite! For bacteria molasses would be good right Coho? Coho is also right FF is a little more expensive and honestly not much difference from local nurseries dirt.
I get it because Im just afraid to try anything then what has worked for me is all
