It's funny, we are both growing from random bag seed with similar setups and I am only a week behind you.. We should be enjoying our respective results at the same time! I was thinking of some pics tomorrow, she will be 8 weeks since she showed sex, I am thinking she has 3 more, she has so many white hairs. I don't have a good scope to check trichs, but I plan on harvesting by what I think she should look like.

well its week 8! she is pushing out a lot more brown hairs, so we are getting closer. i still think 2-3 weeks, but we will monitor closely. she will get fed tonight, but probably only one more time after that before the long flush. let me know what you think of my baby RIU.

i also threw in a few pics of the homemade cooltube I put together. i still have a little work to do, but you can see the proof. i am hoping the complete design will be almost silent. thats cause the fan will be centered in the tube surrounded by thick from. then i have 6 inch insulated ducting that will but up to the 120mm fan, and i am going to overlap the insulation on the back portion of the tube just covering the fan. i put the cfls in there so everyone could get an idea on the size. i hope to finish this weekend.

The cooltube looks good, well i should say the coolbox lol, or cooltangle(rectangle)

well i snapped a few more pics of my new cooltube, or the cooltangle as sicc called it, awesome name by the way!!

These have the foam surrounded fan setup inside. then my six inch, insulated duct is gonna overlay the end to help dampen the sound. once i finish i am gonna mount my cfls in there until i save enough for my cmh. i think i am gonna do a 150watt cmh, been reading good things bout the one i like, so i think i am gonna go with that.

My avatar is a random bud pic. Gonna change it to one of my own in a sec.. Your cooltangle is sweet. Exactly what I am going to build. Love the name Sicc. I threw up a few new pics of my girls to see if we can have a 'guess the yield' competition. Your plants are looking more than happy. Another few weeks left eh.

i just got my light rail put together for my cooltangle. i am going to mount my cfls on here until i get the cmh, then i think i can use this for it as well. i used hard drive magnets to hold the pipe to the glass sheet. i dont have a flange for my duct, but it is 6inch, and the fan is only 4.75, so if i force the duct up against the foam and center it on the fan, then tape it in i think i will be good. i may also try to by a 6 inch wall flange so its not ghetto, but i have not got my spending cash for quite some time and I have no more funds for gumballs hobby. this project only cost me $8 USD cause i had everything but the plastic welder. well worth it though.

You used a plastic welder? Is that some kind of glue? I used acrylic cement for my 'cooltangle.' Interesting. Do you have both an inlet and exhaust fan from your cooltube or just the one fan?

Yeah, the plastic welder is a type of glue, pretty tough stuff for 7 bucks. It is made by ITW, and I got it from an auto parts store.

Have you already built yours? I would love to see some pics.

Yeah, I will have a fan encased in foam on the exit end, and a free floating fan (suspended by bungees) blowing over the lights on the entrance side of the tube. I don't know if I want to push air into thhe carbon filter, or pull through it. What do you think? I want to just start using ona, then ditch most of the carbon for improved air flow, temps, etc, etc

I didn't want to spend another 20 bucks on the wall vent, so I carved something up out of plastic for the duct to hook to. Still have a little work left, but hoping I can mount this thing with my cfl's by this weekend. I will post some pics of it cause it looks wicked dangerous now. I am glad I thought of it cause I have found that adding anything metal to these small grows increases the heat a bunch. So I try to use as little metal as possible.

Put sone mg plant food pellets in soil. But am using rootsorganic buddahgrow grow. Is that the cause for sone yellowing? Rust like
