Question to the community:
Must one stay brand-specific for nutes throughout various stages of a grow? I ask b/c I recently bought the Fox Farm line of nutes for a hydro grow (Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom). Only thing is, the Grow Big that I bought appears to be for soil...not hydro. And, of course, my local hydro store doesn't sell the Grow Big Hydro. So now I'm in a bit of a spot. I have no interest in ordering the Hydro Grow Big online and getting f'd in the a on the shipping. And my local hydro store does carry the Flora Nova line of nutes. So...do you think I could use the Flora Nova nute for veg and then switch to the Fox Farm (Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom) for flowering? I just started a new grow and am trying to figure this out.
Also, how do you nute-up the autoflowerers? I figured wait about 1.5 weeks, introduce veg nutes at low strength, then switch to flowering nutes at about the 3 week mark. Anyone have experience with these strains and managing the nutes given their rather bizarre nature of not really vegging and going straight into flower?
