mixing lights for flowering

planning on trying 1 1000w hps and 2 led ufo's to flower do you guys think this could work.THANKS

Yea, well the thing is about that is you will need to have the LEDs right on top of the plants. For the 90 watt ufos I think a 400 watt would be more effective because it wouldn't drowned out the LED lumen's. If I was going to mix with a 1000 watt I would go with the $400 120 watt LEDs

what if i split the 1 1000w into 2 400/500w hps lights with 2 ufo's to flower.my goal is to try to flower 20 plants let me know if this sound like it might work.THANKs

You cant go with 3 600w shps??

if you have not purchased the lighting yet, and you want to flower 20 plants in a scrog or SOG then I would do as haze suggested and go with 3 600w lights.

For a decent LED you are talking $400 each. search LEDgirl and check her journal. She seems to be pretty knowledgeable on the subject.

Personally I would go with three 600w hung vertically surrounded by plants. Stadium style.

If you cant afford it, you can alwasy just go with the 2 600s, its better than just a 1000w.
