Mixing the wrong nutrients

Hey all, I'll let you know in advance I am a noob. I just saw a video on youtube where this guy from canada has a reguler pot growing channel. He mentioned in one of his videos that sometime mixing nutes can kill your plants for example nitrogen and sulfate which makes nitrogen sulfate, i cant recall if thats what it was exactly. but anyways i have alot of AN nutes and the hydroponic store owner told me that all AN nutes are built to work together. so you can see how the hydro store owner and the canadain guy are saying two completly different things. what should i whatch out for? thanks in advance

Just never mix the nutes together rather add each to the water, then the next part into the water. DONT mix two different nutes no matter what kind together as this is not how they are intended to be used and this is what can cause chemical reactions. Also you should never mix chemical nutes with organic as you will be killing the biological crap in the organics. Just always mix each into the water then the next ingredient and you will be fine.
