Mixing tobacco with cannabis

I was surprised the other day when I read that a lot of Europeans smoke their dope mixed with tobacco. I used to do that when I was a kid, but usually to stretch out my reefer when I only had a little bit. Some old hippie told me they called it a cocktail joint. Really. The nicotine seems to really intensify the rush, maybe because I usually didn't inhale tobacco smoke that deep. Another time, ick, I got a bunch of nasty tar out of a pipe and smeared it on the outside of a Marlboro. The first time I did that it was pretty nice, but then I tried again three times in a row and got nothing, so I gave up on that. Don't smoke tobacco anymore.

Any opinions on whether adding tobacco helps the buzz? And what's a good mix? 50/50?

tobacco with some keif/bubble hash is a very relaxing high if your hash is stony and couchlocking, good shit right here.

also different strains make the highs crazy different.

The only tobacco I mix with weed is when I'm smoking a blunt, USA USA USA!

I am from the UK. I smoked for a long time joints which would be tobacco + weed (20+ years.). I couldn't imagine doing it any other ways. I gave up tobacco 2 years ago and went to smoking pure weed. A lot of people think I am odd smoking pure weed but I find myself now enjoying it a lot more.

Much prefer joints with tobacco. Just generally an all round more enjoyable smoke for me.

Even when I used to smoke tobacco I wouldn't like it in my joints. The cannabis is just so damn good, why would I ruin it with tobacco? Same reason I don't like blunts, the cannabis flavor is best as it is IMHO.

Im from Europe (Denmark) and I have smoked for +24 years now, mostly hash, and have always been adding tobacco to make it burn, depending on how strong the hash is I normally mix 1 smoke with 1/2 to 1 gram of hash, but I always toast it fist to get rite of the nicotine and moist, I do the same with weed to make it burn better/more equal and have a more smoot tast, but with weed its more like 1/2 a smoke in two grams of weed --

when I toast the tobacco I also make more of a effort if its for a Bong or pipe then if it is for a joint ..

when I smoke with some of my friends on holiday in Turkey its untoasted tobacco they use in there joints and I find it harsh for my lungs ..

guess its just different from witch part of the world your from, I once saw a TV program from some where in India where the men sat in the shade smoking small joints while the woman's was working the fields in the sun and was smoking big Bong`s

in marrocca they like there Kif at nights, looking out over the hills you can see them light up at in the dark

marroccaian or India (Kashmir) Hash, sometimes also Afgan or Red libanon

Yea this is a European thing. I've never in my 20 yrs of smoking pot, seen an American roll it with tobacco, except for the blunt wrap thing. In Amsterdam, you're the odd man out rolling up straight joints with no tobacco. I don't get the whole cone joint thing either, but they look cool.

I have and will always consider smoking cigs a relaxing event. I have smoked cigs off and on since age 14 (now 42) I like pipe tobacco as well.

When I 1st started smoking MMJ again 2 years ago I would empty the cig and cram weed in there since it was too hard to roll a J for me. (thank God for rollers!)

for me the cone thing is the easiest way to roll a j w.o a roller.

i smoke rolling tobacoo with my weed (3 skin paper) . apart from a blunt wen just ram it with weed . opposite to most of u but thats what every one does in uk mostly

Cannabis is more expensive and harder to come by outside the US, I smoked tobacco before weed and add tobacco to my joints but DO NOT smoke cigarettes, nor do I have a specific craving for the nicotine. It burns better, conserves weed and my weed tastes so good I don't notice the tobacco flavor. However, I cannot tolerate cigarettes now.

What about hash oil rubbed on a cigarette?

i have always used tobacco, when i do crave a strong joint and i have it pure i find it tastes horrible and it wont smoke/burn as good as with baccy, this could be cos im not used to it though..

i find it strange that most yanks dont use baccy, i have my first joint before i get out of bed, how would i ever get out if that were pure, how do you yanks function ,even with sativa day smokes..

if you have been to the cannabis capital of the world,amsterdam , you will have bought a pre rolled joint which contain baccy, thats how they roll over there, sure you can buy pure joints but 95% are pre rolled with baccy

i tried to give up baccy but found the high from a vaporizer totally different and eventually i seemed immune to them, and bongs hurt my throat

Same... Vapes gave me chest pain and bongs hurt my throat, but I hit the pipe and bubbler rarely, but even then I'd put a bit of baccy in the bowl.
