Straight pluz, i havent tried soaking before because I feel I might drown them. I usually soak a rag and put them in there and into a dark place for three days, but i usually loose one bean(doesn't germinate).
usually ppl soad their seeds for 24 hours no problem- lets the seed absorb the moisture needed to crack and germ.

letting it soak for 12 hours, there is no possible way for it to drown.

but you dont need to soak them at all, i do though. let me know when you see some sprouts :D

They're peeking! The beans are begining to sprout, its been 8 days since I put them down, seemed to take a little longer than others. But as long as they hatch, thats all that matters. The pics are below plus I took pics of my set up.......

Nice, glad to see some progress newweedman :D:clap:

how much did you pay for the co2 boost? when i was looking into getting it, it was going for a 100+ dollars. which wouldnt have been so bad if the refill didnt cost and arm and leg also. if i recall correctly, the active ingredients only last 2 or 4 months or so. i ended up buying yeast, sugar and some containers to ferment my own co2 for a fraction of the cost.

are those pics of clones under the flouro's? what strain in that?

ya, 8 days is a wait, whats the temps like?

thanks for sharing bro, good work. ill stay tuned in :D

I paid $140 for the co2 boost, yeah the refills do cost they are $100. It last for 3 months once you activate it. Yeah those clones are bubble gum, dumpster, hash plant and blueberry that I got from a friend. The temp is 78 degrees, but i think its my fault because I put them in the tent and the light and 80 degree temp kept drying the plugs out every day, so I moved them under the floro's.

kool man,

sounds like you got some killer strains. i never heard of dumpster though:confused:

im not sure how much the co2 would improve growth under flouro's but if your co2 boost is activated theres probably no postponing and saving it. i heard that co2 isnt very effective unless your using hid's over 40+ watts/sqft.

are using a heatmat under your seeds? the roots grow quicker when medium temps are higher than ambient air temps but not greater than 80F because you could potentially burn roots after that.

I don't have the co2 boost with the flouro's, I have it going into the tent under the 1000watt hps. No Im not using a heating pad(I should be though). Im probably going to buy one tomorrow.
