Lol, I live in Canada, I had no choice. My parents both had Brittish schooling so I learnt both...sort of I still get confused with brittish weight. They have the stone that's like 14lbs or some crazy thing.

Crazy !!!! it makes perfect sense, If you are measuring your own weight then it's in stone (like you say 14lbs = 1 stone)
If you go to the shops to buy oranges then you have to weigh your produce in kg!! when my mates and i watch UFC and the tale of the tape gives the fighters weight in kilos i don't have a clue what the equates to..
But if you are buying weed then it's sold in pounds and oz's lol
Well 1 Kg = 2.2 Lbs
It just gets so confusing. I weigh myself in Lbs, but when I used to wrestle it was in kg. Then I talk to my uncle in England he tells me his weight in stones and I'm like okay I'm lost. The whole weight system/ measuring system is all over the place.
Here we use the metric system, but when I go to work and quote jobs we do everything in imperial. No body wants to hear I have to dig up 4 meters in your basement. They don't understand what that is even though we learn it in school, but you tell them I have to dig 12 feet then they know. lol, crazy world we live in.

Here in the US they dont teach the metric system. This will help out some people that need it here in the US.
Im going to remove this thread so that defcon9(what ever that is..a little kids video game) can relax and not be a hater. Your giving Canadians a bad reputation for being ignorant by saying you represent everyone from canada. I have friends in Canada that would toss you and your ideas out the window. Everything you said on this thread has been back and forth and wishy washy. You should learn to read before you add in your 2 cents, because thats all its been worth. Maybe you just need to state that better in what you write, instead of "I should have said no canadians/euros. I know they don't teach the metric system in the USA. The only advantage of it that I like it that it is in multiples of 10. You do come off very offencive. I only answered you trying to be polite, I saw a new guy to the site and didn't want you to feel like no one here would answer your post. With my great reading skills i read your post and thought hey, let's answer this guy so that he knows people are reading his post, and maybe someone else will answer him as well with a different answer and then his post will take off for him, but no, you are rude and keep telling me to read and I do. I use a dropper to measure my nutrients if im mixing a small mix. Its fast and accurate to the drop. This may help people not to over fertilize.
5ml = 1 tsp
5ml = 34 drops/gallon
7.5ml = 1.5 tsp
7.5ml = 50 drops/gallon
3 tsp = 1 tablespoon
15ml =1 tablespoon
Example question: Nutrients say use 20 ml per gallon
You have a 5 gallon resivior.
Approximately many tablespoons would you need without over fertilizing?
a. 10
b. 7
c. 8
d. 6.5
Answer: 6.5 tbls

That's not true. I'm American and I learned the metric system at the same time I learned the US customary units. Around the 2nd or 3rd grade, I think.

I'm glad they started teaching you guys the metric system at your local elementary school. Back when I was in grammer school they were teaching us division and fractions. Glad to see them teaching this in your curiculum finally. It seems like you guys are pretty lucky these days.
