Mmmj forms

I know I'm over thinking this, but on the Caregiver Attestation is the SS# supposed to be the caregiver's or the patient's?

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!

on the Application Form for Registry Indentification Card there is a box at the bottom of the page that says, 'By checking this box, I additionally authorize the release of my name and date of birth to law enforcement, to confirm identity, only if law enforcement has provided the Michigan Medical Marihuana Program with my valid registration number.'

Why would anyone ever check that box? Or am I missing something here. The way I read it is that you are giving the law enforcement information they don't need or shouldn't have.

Is it possible that someone might fill out the forms with John Q and Jane Q with detailed descriptions for people who over think these kind of things?

The SS# on the caregiver form is supposed to be your caregivers. I checked the, "By checking this box.....". It allows the police to verify that the card is in fact yours. Without a picture on the card itself, there's little or no way for the police to verify that the card is yours. I don't have anything to hide so I don't care if they want to verify that the card is mine, but to each her own.

I think that if you do not check the box then if leo ever stops you and is in a situation that he needs to verify your card because you have mmj on you. And my belief is that if you dont have that box checked then the MDCH cannot verify your number when leo calls it in then guess what if they cant verify your card then you go to jail until you see a judge. But sounds like that is what is happening anyway since they dont seem to respect the new law anyhow.

I checked with a compassion club and they seconded your opinion. I, personally, do not want to spend any time in jail. So I checked it and sent in the paperwork. Can't wait for them to cash my check and start counting the days. Hope I'm in time for the Silverdome.
