Moderate grower needs help. Yellowing in mid flowering.

Hello, I'd like to start by saying any help on this will be much appreciated.

Il run through setup real quick:
9x600w Hps
Opticlimate 6000 air con
3x 16lt/day dehumidifiers (constant)
20lt pots (soil)
Soil: White peat moss (clay pebbles at bottom)

Water: ph ran at 6.2 throughout veg.
Ph around 6.4 in flowering.
Using canna terra flora
Bio-bloombastic at 1ml/lt
Cannazym at 2.5ml/lt
Shogun cal/mag at 1ml/lt
EC usually 0.8-1 but jumped it to 1.2 to see if it helped. It didn't so flushing clear water ever since

(Note: I don't feed nutes in every watering. I water every 1.5 days and feed nutes about every 3rd watering. I use cannazym every watering and occasionally half strength calmag. But as a rule I go light on the nutes)

Day to day temps: 26 Celsius in day
23 Celsius at night.
Humidity varies when watered but roughly 45-59%

Now for the problems:

These plants grew very well during veg. With minimal nutes used.
When they entered flowering I noticed main fan leaves on a few turning bleached yellow. I thought this to be calcium so I added cal/mag to my programme. Didn't seem to help. I don't think it's calcium now.

The plants in general look too pale green and the yellow leaves now are more whitish with blotches on them as they whither.

The undergrowth and mid growth of the plants are atrocious, with little left alive on the worse affected.

Not all plants are like this but it seems as if they are all heading that way slowly but surely.

Problems loading pictures roll it up says they are working on this.

How far exactly are you in the flowering stage?
Because experiencing yellowing of fan leaves is normal, but the yeah I would keep an eye on it and post a more pics if you see the plants decline in heath.
Also growing in soil it takes a while to start seeing a change so be patient and let it chill for a day or two.

Thanks for the reply, I'm roughly 4 weeks into flowering. Lost track but roughly 4 or 5 weeks.

The main fan leaves seem to be dying all one by one top to bottom. Going pure yellow then falling off. Just doesn't seem natural.

Il just keep with the clean water for a few days

In nature plants loose their leaves. they turn colors and fall off. It's called fall. However, 4-5 weeks is a little early imo for the leaves to be that yellow. Are you sure they're not more like 7 weeks?

the more I think about it you may be right they could be around 6 weeks tops. (I'm embarrassed at the fact iv forgot when I flicked them)

But out of 26, there's about 8-10 that are near perfect green then the rest have this yellowing occurring.

And to me the ones affected, the buds don't seem to be as dense. Not the case in all but some.

The lights will be out in an hour il try to get few more pics and you all can give your opinions.

I'm holding off the bloombastic etc,
When I'm this late in flowering should I be heavily feeding them then flush or just keep nursing along.

Iv went heavy on nutes in the past and ended up with bad smoke.

On the other hand I don't want to miss out on yield. Just interested what others would do.

Not familiar with your medium but have you considered if feeding them enough? ..by what you've described that would be my first thought

.. actually looking at them again they look pretty good otherwise and your going to get some Leaf Drop anyway, and cuz you're unsure of the date you flipped them I think you're pretty much on track, would still reconsider the amount and/or frequency your feeding tho

Using soil. Just plain old white peat moss. And pebbles at bottom of 20lt pots.

Iv thought this but didn't want to escalate the problem.

What EC would you run at this stage in soil. My base EC is 0.2
Also what Ph iv been running 6.2-6.5

I would give it small amounts of veg nutes until flower growth slows significantly.

It honestly helps a lot and the feeding can be tapered down after buds develop to their potential.
A 9wk feed and 1 week water = nice fat buds and a good cure will give the best quality and quantity balance in my experience.

I can feed up to harvest and still get smooth smoke, no yellow leaves, and when cured, there is very little chlorophyll and no 'green' taste.

But it is easier with a tapered flush imo.

I don't know if you're using soil or white Pete Moss (either or both maybe?)

I run 1200 - 1400 PPM, sometimes heavy feeders get push to 16 to 1800 PPM to finish them (I don't understand EC sorry)

Also I might have missed it but what strain are you growing and how many weeks does it say til finished ?

It's a tomato grow bag but it's unfertilised. It's locally bagged I think it's just peat moss.

Il try your advice iv never went over 1.0 EC which is 500-700 ppm depending on what scale you use.

Il try like 1.8-2.0 EC which would be around 900-1000 ppm with a bit of veg nutes, see how that goes.
