Got a new tool! A DeWalt Hammer Drill:

It has shock absorbers in the handle. It is so smooth! It uses these space-age drill bits that cut through cement like butter:

I am sooooo happy 8)

Had a plumbing issue today so I only got to drill one hole with my new drill. It was like smoking hash for the first time. You never knew life could be so good :)

Nice I could have spent so much money on DeWalt tools during Home Depots sales they had so many good deals but I just ended up grabbing a 20v drill and impact gun for only $225 including tax and I got a free battery too. Can't go wrong with DeWalt

I was watching Mike Holmes on TV and I saw him screw a 2x4 into cement with this little cordless DeWalt impact driver. It was amazing! I went to Sears and got the kit with the impact driver, drill, 2 batteries and a charger. My collection has just kept growing. When I moved my daughter out of state I ended up installing some cabinets and a counter in a nook in her kitchen. It doubled her storage and increased here counter area. I picked up the DeWalt cordless circular saw for that project and shipped it home. Now I have a worklight too :) When I was putting the cubes together I was hoping I could find a cordless stapler. I will probably get an air stapler for putting up the screen on the greenhouse.

Cheers,
Mo

The pool and hot tub are definitely nice when the weather is good. But they are so much work to maintain. It is like taking care of a hydro setup without anything growing in it. :P

It is very windy this year and that means cold nights. When the wind dies down we will get some nice evenings and that is when the pool is magical :)

Hey Mo, have you considered implementing the tropf blumat system in your greenhouse? Could help with watering that many plants all the time especially if you have a bum knee. I just hooked up 8 of them in my veg. tent 2 nights ago and so far so good. Hiking 16 miles into waimanu valley to camp this weekend so it will be a good chance to iron out any kinks before I leave for 3 weeks next month.
I actually ordered a 2nd 12 pack kit, because I have 20 clones that will need watering will I'm gone. Praying I wont come home to some crispy keiki's, but from the research I've done everyone seems pretty happy with the system.

I have heard about them. I may investigate further. Right now my measly funds are focused on finishing the greenhouse. Spent the second day today trying to install one board! Yesterday the plumbing emergency and today the blocks are too thin. The lag anchors can't grip. Went to Home Depot to find a solution but they didn't have anything better. Picked up a few more supplies and headed home. Walked a fair bit and now I am paying for it. Well - I was until I got medicated :) Me and a beefeater :) Each day the knee is getting stronger!

On the way home a I thought of a solution. I will cut the lag anchor cylinder shorter so that the expanding part is in the block and not in the void. I was concerned at first because this would mean removing the hinged section that holds the two halves of the cylinder together. Solution - duct tape of course!

Third day will be a charm!

Here is what Huck #5 looks like today:

Cheers and thanks for all of the well wishes!

Keep up that rehab Mo, when I tore my rotator cuff I was on heavy `medication`... Jamesons and a few dozen OG18 bongers day plus physio ;). You`ll be stronger than ever when you`re back into the swing of the daily, wish I was closer, I`d be over there to lend some mitts ... ATB Mo,

Hey DST,
It is getting stronger every day. I think what happened was that when I popped the joint open crouching down, a tendon or nerve slipped into the joint. There is still a ropey thing (tendon, nerve bundle or blood vessel) on the inner side of my knee that I can touch that is very sore. I can put weight on the joint just fine now and only every once in a while does it trick out on me. I walked all over the giant hardware store yesterday collecting stuff for the build and looking for alternative ways to tie into the block wall. By the end of the day I was paying the price. Had to resort to pain pills, ice, and gin :) Each day it is less tight and feels better. I really think it is because of all of the great energy heading my way from all of the RIU family - especially the sixers :)

Cheers,
Mo

Wow, Mo, your seedlings are way ahead of mine. I should have given them all the comforts this round instead of just sticking them outside. Hopefully I can transplant them and they'll pick up tomorrow.

Cloned the shit out of Tranquil Elephantizer, Girl Scout Cookie, Black Ass, and Agent Orange. Have my DWC cloner stuffed. Next I'm going to fill up a humidome (or two :P ) with the rest of everything. Pakistani Punch is in full flower! She got too much shade, so if you find a keeper pheno, let me know, and I'll give you something real nice for it!

Jack the Ripper and Phat N Fruity are off the menu until I can get some vended clones returned to me, those mom's flowered too. Fixing this whole shade situation though.

Lol, I feel like as your knee gets better, mine gets worse; I was limping a 5 gal bucket of water up stairs today, which I know for a fact is only making things worse! That Malawi Honeycomb is some of the best medicine I have ever used, if not the best, I'm sure you'll be damn near numb after a big bong chug of that.

I bring the seedlings in every night to give them 18/6. They go nutz in the sunshine, which came out nice and early today :)

All of the PP look awesome! One has a leaf deformity that I need to figure out. Got some pictures but they need to be processed yet.

Man why you gotta go and make me want more plants :)

You gotta stay off the knee for at least 24 hours. I learned that lesson a long time ago. When it starts yelling at you - give it a nice long rest. Take some Advil to reduce the swelling and use an ice pack for a good 20 minutes at a time or until it is uncomfortable.

Glad to hear that the Malawi turned out nice :) I wonder if it is the CBD that makes it numbing? Worked great when I had back pain :)

I will post those pics soon. Greenhouse work first though!

Cheers,
Mo

I wanna build that damn greenhouse, lol! I know though, I'm like the serpent in the apple tree.

I try and take it easy on the knee, but it's been acting up for the past 11 years, so 24 hours of rest doesn't do as good as it should. Doctors think they know what's up now, hopefully I'll be on the road to recovery soon.

The Malawi is still the strongest hash I've made, you can see the newest crumble I made in Open Show & Tell, it's beautiful, White Fire OG Kush, still not as potent as the Malawi. The THC content on the Malawi isn't all that high actually, it's a low yielding hash maker, I think it's all the other cannabanoids in there that comes along with quality and pure lineage. Out of those two vacuum bags we only pulled 30g, but it was just killer!
