What do I have to do to get a Jesus OG clipping? Interested in trading a clone? I got LA Con, Headband, GSC, Sour Hawaiian, Cherry Pie, I dont mind driving for a clipping of the good lord Jesus...

Peace

Great job FM! That tree is lovely :)

Mine was 100% Sativa and a bitch to trim. You will get a much better harvest than I did.

Just getting ready to chop the JOG 1. The trichs are all milky mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Did a one-hit test of the Scott's OG today after 1 week in the jar.

Condition:
Rock hard dense and covered with frost.

Clipped off the tip of a bud and gave it a quick burn. The inhale was smooth and did not produce a cough. The exhale was smoky with a slight skunk bite.

The buzz was an immediate feeling in my head. I had a migraine and it felt like it was shrunk to a tiny size and moved to the back of the room. Everything outside took on a look that I can only describe as extra clear. It is starting to wear off now but it was only a small hit.

I bet this would make an effective headache oil!

OK - now it is time to go out and roll a big joint and see what kind of effects a big dose produces.

Cheers,
Mo

consider that when you sand, you are going to be covering everything in your area in a lot of dust- and since it's an outdoor structure you really don't need to- if you stain. the sanding would be a lot of work and low return on investment imho. I wouldn't varnish or paint but that's just me. a good stain will soak in and won't peel like a paint or varnish will. as far as maintaining it- you might need to re-stain in a few years, but it will be easier to fix than peeling paint/varnish and will look nicer as it ages.

Thanks on the finishing advice. I have done some research and they all say the same thing. There are some amazing coatings out there but they all fail. The stronger they are, the harder they are to remove when they fail. Oils and stains sound like the only good options for outdoor wood unless you want to refinish every year.

The JOG 1 is still bulking up and some of the tops are starting to flop. It is green with clear trichs and fresh pistils still shooting out.

I harvested the runt Jilly Bean #4. Smelled great and very colorful leaves but not much bud. I will plant the Paki Punch clone in her place. We will see how it does in the elements in a short cold season.

Thanks Don - she was pretty, for a microscopic plant :P

She looked done to me but she wasn't even close. Her leaves were like velvet with all of the resin. However, there doesn't seem to be any flowers! Might make a great hash plant.

Cheers,
Mo

Just give her a bit to dry and cure, I'm sure there is a lot more dense flower on there than you know. I've had to crop a few things (almost everything so far, lol) prematurely and when they are wet they seem like some serious fluff, but just give them a few days in the jar, and they'll impress you.

Oh, by the way, I'm going to be giving Ice Wax a serious attempt this season, and I'm excepting donations ;) ....although I feel like I should owe you some freebies since you always give such generous gifts. You is a generous-ass motha fucka, you know dat? lol. I'll be having lots of wax this season either way, and I was going to go around OC giving gifts to everyone that's helped me out this season. OC is just full of good people.

man isn't it always the way. the frost is killer but the buds seem small. or the smell is intense and the high... meh.

jilly and the ace both look like they'll be nice toking either way. my ace of spades wasn't that pretty that's for sure.

P1010688a.jpgP1010687a.jpgA little greenhouse like this? These are the white (50% sun) polycarbonate sheets I was telling you about. You can get any length cut to order from Connleys in Montclair. This is my 20 x 30 orchid house.
