Mohican's 2016 Season

Well we still getting snow and then it melts and repeats. A fungus virus is moving around and making me spray my plants in flower which I fing hate but that is part of growing. I am using Organic spray since I have buds growing. Buds are growing real fast under the big lights and are frosting up already 2 weeks since pom poms is looking like this everywhere.

you see the dust on fan leaves it was mold growing from that dam fungus virus hitting MI. I caught it right away and at worse I will loose my hash pile this round.

Enjoy it!

You can wait and do a smoke report when you are prepared for it.

I am wondering what characteristics it has. Did it get the numbing effect from the Mulanje? Does it have a citrus from the Jilly Bean? Is it something completely different?

My mind is racing :)

Well for starters it's very potent. Just one lil bowl in the vaporizer. So far very heady. pure head. A certain degree of awake and alertness I want to say.... but then again it is the mid day and it was my first rips of the day. It definitely has tones of citrus among other complex smells.

I think once I burn through most of one of the jars and get very familiar with it I can give a better report. A long term thing.

I did such a variety of strains on that last grow I been puffing a little bit of this and a little bit of that to test everything out somewhat. Variety is the spice of life they say. :)

@DCobeen - If you use H2O2 in the ice water hash water, I think you can safely wash away the PM. I have never tried this but the resin should be clear of any PM and so it is a matter of removing it from the leaf material and washing it away. It is worth a try.

@D_Urbmon - thank you so much for the response! What a compliment to be compared to Bodhi! I will continue to work on my lines of landrace African sativas crossed with everything. The MAKU, Crimbo, and Purple Haze all seem to have dropped a few seeds in my garden.

I'm going to guess that you're in SoCal? I'm in SF Bay Area where the weather is also mostly nicer. I'm about a mile from the Bay waters. I was going to avoid outdoor growing here, but i don't think I'll be able to resist. It gets too hot to grow indoors without A/C and dehumidifiers in a couple months or less in this area. I'm about to get on my vegetable sprouts now. I have a bare back yard with zero landscaping at this wreck i bought. Lots of room to grow stuff.

I love the look of your garden now, beautiful, I can't wait to see it bloom

@oldbikepunk - Humidity is what keeps me from growing indoors. Although now that my kids are all moved out I have a big shower that would be perfect for my Kessil spectral spinner and H350s and H380s! Maybe I will grow some Malawi and Mulanje 12/12 from seed under Kessils and see what they can really do. The shower has ventilation and the humidity should be fine in there. I just hope the smell isn't too strong!

@DonBrennon - All of the fruit trees and Citrus trees are covered with blossoms! I love California spring!

Cheers,
Mo
