Hey guys I just planted some seeds in this "moisture control" soil that claims to regulate the amount of moisture in the plant. I was planning on growing outdoors so I figured this would be cool if I went out of town or something but I got paranoid and moved them inside.
On closer inspection it looks like it has these little balls that fill with water when I water the plant. I'm about two weeks in and it seems to be cool, but can I still use nutes on this plant? Or will the moisture control balls suck it all up?
Here's the Soil Description:
Mix of coconut fibers, Canadian sphagnum peat moss, and a wetting agent to provide superior water holding and releasing environment. Protects plants against the effects of over and under watering. Enriched with Miracle-Gro plant food. An AquaCoir formula helps reduce plant stress between waterings. Provides added protection during hot and dry weather. This Miracle Gro Moisture Control Potting Soil is one of many top quality items in our Potting Soil department.
