Molasses,,do You Use It?

I've read in another thread about the effects of adding Molasses to your grow before the final flush. I've also read about using it during the whole flowering period. Says it fattens up the buds...anybody know about this?

Same here.

Last grow i tried an assload of different shit,some plants were fed with molasses heavily & others just minimul amounts,while others had no molasses,im sticking with heavy molasses throught the entire flowering time,the taste is about the same with a bit of sweetness but the smoke is smoother at the same time.

I was fartin around with some lights in my music room & moved a black light over some buds,its easy to see which buds are heavily treated with molasses,they look a light motor oil in color under the black light & the non treated buds just look like they should,there is no doubt that molasses is absorbed into the bud.

i used brown sugar on these and they bulked up really quick i'm not giving it to the plants for this batch to see if the're is a difference already they are not as fat as when i used it. i think i'm gonna continue to use it for future grows i think it definately makes a difference

use it the whole time you are flowering. bigger and denser buds from the carbs in the molasses and it will help the taste too, plus its a good source of calcium and magnesium which the plant needs too

isnt carboload the same effect of molasses?

is there something like molasses but to sweetten your nugs even more and give it a sweet/fruity improvement is taste?

I'm doing this for the first time @1TB per Gallon. Things are looking good.
After reading some replies, I'm hoping the added essence doesn't interfere with what is already a delicious aroma and taste.

I use it just for carb boosts here and there. If you are 100% organic, molasses can also boost your "microherd" (sp) in the soil. I do not believe that it makes that much difference in the taste of the buds.

In my case, I'm just lookin' to fatten my buds up. Lots of white pistils and all, but skinny as a rail. I also use Nirvana from AN and Iguana Bloom, but still skinny buds.
