My soil preparation about 3 months prior to planting was rapid raiser and pigeon manure, rotary hoe in and rotary hoe about once a month until planting,, I had no idea if the molasses helped to trigger any of those in the ground or not all I know was I got better results

Ahh! Nice findings and research, that’s the only way to see if it really worked, sounds like it worked out great for you. Now you can pass the word! Now I’m trying to use it in the bubbler basket, I’m still experimenting with it, but Blackjack has responded good with it so far, instead of a tablespoon or spoons, I used a half tsp in bucket for 9/10 days, then get a new bucket of my sauce that I use. Making a sic ass sauce for the Vemon OG. 8 days and look. Black bucket

BS molasses is high in copper and iron. Handy when u need some!

It can be used or left out if using a complete plant feed. It’s your choice.

I use it once in veg and couple times in flower. Although I use it at 1tsp per gallon as too much molasses = disaster

I have been very cautious with the use of molasses in doors,, and can't really say whether it is of huge benefit in coco and hydro,
But soil is a different ball game,, that's why I initially did the side by side outside on tomatoes,,so if there was any casualties it was no big deal, many people that saw my tomato crop were totally amazed,,(I somehow forgot to mention that I was trying molasses)and they all asked the same question what fertilizer are you using,,
I did and inside grow using canna Terra pro soil (cannabis) using molasses once a fortnite,, about 4 or 5 days later the plant always seemed to get a darker green colour to it and most definitely no ill effects,, but it wasn't a side by side and it was soil
with all the hundreds and hundreds of nutrient lines and the b/s additives out there for sale, that do Jack shit, a $10 jar of molasses ????

People use molasses(UNSULPHURED, must be unsulphured) to feed the microbiology that is present within the soil. No it does not travel up the roots into your buds. More microbes means easier and faster access to nutrients, as they break down organic matter into usable nutrients, and make whatever is already bio available even more available. Which in turn increases overall vigor of the plant, as well as increasing terpene production( this is why buds tend to taste sweeter/smell sweeter sometimes, not all cultivars will react the same do to different genetic profiles). Apart from the quantity of microbes in your soil, you should aim for as diverse of a population of microbes as possible. I usually start using molasses when they are in their late teens and throughout flower once a week at the rate of 1tbsp/gallon. I don’t think using it earlier or later would have any negative consequences. The sweetness could attract critters into your soil though if you are outdoors so use caution.

Well there you go, just as I suggested,
I do notice a benefit in soil but as I said was unsure about Coco or hydro

You don’t have to brew to use living soil, i seed ocean forest with azos and mykos at trans and then water azos and molasses roughly once eow to keep the soil happy‍♂

What I was getting at is the molasses isnt needed. You can keep the micro herd up In any soil using living soil is a whole other beast. Ocean forest isn’t a living soil so I hope you’re not implying it is.

I wasn’t implying it’s a living soil from the bag, I add the bacteria, which, to me anyways, makes it a living soil I guess

This is better than any molasses, Mykos, Azos, etc... My microbes will kick ass on all those commercial products. All I need is a couple potatoes and some duff from under a tree. A couple days later and a 5 gallon bucket teeming with living microbes.

Everything I need to grow plants is in my yard. I can grow my own microbes and make my own fertilizer basically for free using organic material and it's better than any bottled commercial product.
