SO i had an earlier post about the trouble i was having with molasses, more specifically the fact that when i added the one tablespoon per gallon, couple days later i had a funky odor that can only be described as spoiled, kinda sour...someone told me this was "aerobic fermentation",and that the mix was filled with bad bacteria that could hurt the plant and that i should remove the top of the jug once a day and allow is to aerate and breathe...so i dumped the original batch and made a new one...removing the top for at least a couple hours a day...now once again the pungent stinky odor has returned...what the fuck right? my question exactly any help is appreciated...id really like to try this molasses thing out but seems i cant get my molasses to not go bad...is the smell normal or am i fucking up

its the norm bro!! i will not grow with out it!! i got a five gollen tub of water i use 10 table spoon fulls ad my food AND superthrive and let it set for two or three days before i feed. you will get a film and bubbles on top of the water that means its breaking up the food i stir up the tub and then feed them. i even use molasses in my flush out water. people put batshit on there plants how could molasses be any worse? only bad thing is nats so i put 1/4 inch of sand on top of my soil to stop them from laying eggs. and i keep a spray bottel of 50/50 rubbing alc and water and every three of four days spray the sand to kill any nat eggs if there is any. just to add alot of this so called super food has molasses in it.

sorry bro, if ur using hydroponics molasses is not a good idea. if it just sits around bacteria start to form and it can rot your plants
