i flush medium weekly to avoid salt build up so i wont c any benefit from molasses? will it cause harm if i use it any way? u guys kick ass thanks for all replies
Well i dont have the hands on to answer this one. What medium do u use? If you are using completely in-organic food , i would say no your plants probably wont benefit from it. I really dont think it will hurt and
might even provide some trace elements, but i would not use a tbsp to every single gallon. maybe just a tsp per gallon. My guess is that it could be as bad as using any food heavy, and might even cause its own salt build up , but i am not sure. I just know that all these years they been sayin that it makes the flowers bigger , with more resin is a lie.
My opinion is if you are using a inert medium like perlite, red rock, rockwool, ect... and using all inorganic foods then the mollasses is gonna have little to no benefit. (i think peat moss and coco should be in the "inert" catagory too, but i have seen peat moss w/molasses with a microscope and there was alot of microbe activity, but my hands on tells me that peat moss and organics dont mix)
