benefits are b-vits and carbs mainly. its worthwhile for organic grows. the amount differs per strain. find out what your plant likes. but as a general rule i wouldnt start out with more than a leveled teaspoon

I use 1 tbl sp per 1 qt of water....this furum has had a lot of discussion on this topic.. so I am doing a little expirement. 1 plant I use the mollasses on every watering, 1 plant I do every other watering, and 1 plant I havent given mollasses at all...
they all have the same size buds....no differences yet, altho its only been 3 weeks,
I think FDD is right..
ITS ALL BULLSHIT!!!!

i dont know, there are some well documented grows in icmag. ive only used it once, and my impression could be purely a placebo effect from the hype.

I have read that the mollasses doesnt fully fattening of buds effect until the last 2-3 wks of flowering..., but dont they fatten the most during the last 2 weeks anyway?

essentially true, also depends on lights. the real test would be to use mh the whole grow with and without molasses and see which buds turn out better

hmmm I used it on one plant and not the other but it was a fucked up test because I was growing from seed. And although it was same strain I had two different traits. So anyways I use it and It does seem to give my babies a sweet flavor at the end, almost fruity~

i played with moleasses a few times and i have come to the conclusion that the later the application(mid flowering, nice buds already) it seems to swell the buds just a bit more than usual, which of course is very very nice. 2 or 3 tbls per 1/2 gallon of water on 8 indoor plants, but watch for bugs......its like a big vacancy sign out front.

Alright well molasses isnt bullshit lol, and the plant dosnt really start to use it until the middle of flowering, so you wont see any differences yet, but ill bet all the plants I have growing ( 0 ) that you see a difference in a couple weeks.

As for the amount, 2-3 tbs a gallon. Tablespoon, not teaspoon.

I have now use molasses with almost every watering. 1 teaspoon per gallon between 3 plants and it works amazing!

Molasses does not necessarily make your plant or buds bigger but increases crystals, so you may not notice much difference in the plant itself, the real test is after harvest .. which plant has more crystals and is more potent, molasses also has something to do with helping with nutrients/ferts to the plant, they say it's best used toward end of flowering, I'm using grandmas molasses, since the buds have gotten twice as sugary and sticky, so I'm thinking it helps..

The following link will explain better,

Peace!
