hey guys. I have two outdoor plants right now and I just picked up some grandmas unsulphured molasses.

I was wondering how much molasses per gallon I should be feeding my plants.

Thanks in advanced.

PS: I did some searching but couldnt find what I was looking for, thanks!!

most people on here use 1 tablespoon per gallon of water. we are using 2 tablespoons per gallon and they seem to love it. good decision getting molasses.

I start with 1 Tablespoon per gallon in veg and then move up to 2 in flower... but the last feeding they get before harvest I kick it up to 4; 2 of Blackstrap molasses and 2 of pomegranate molasses. The pomegranate molasses isn't that high in minerals etc, but it gives one hell of a sugar boost without overdose and citric acid to boost metabolism. Man, my last grow was sugared!

You dont use the Molasses in replacement off the nutrients, but rather in addition too.

I added 2tsp per gallon of water last night for my first time so ill bump it up a notch next time.

Thanks for the great replies, +rep

yes you add molasses an addition to whatever nutes you are using. in my case we're using Canna Terra Flores..it's a Canna product which was designed in amsterdam for cannabis plants. my next grow is going to be all Canna products and maybe molasses..you can't go wrong with that shit.

I know molasses is supposed to make your buds fill out and enhance the flavor. Is there any advantage to using it during veg?

Thanks for the + rep. Yes, BMO Super Plant Tonic - makes your rootball explode & bat guano High P. You can get both for a fair price on www.ebay.com search for organic fertilizer, plant tonic or bat guano to pull up your options. I've bought several items from willieonthehill. He ships real fast.
.
BMO SPT is my favorite amendment &
The High P Bat Guano is my favorite flowering fertilizer.
Here's some links - explaining why.

Molasses is great in veg because it feeds microorganisms in the soil and helps prevent soft-stems from rapid growth. You just don't want too much... but I did find I didn't need cal-mag when growing in coco since I started using it in veg. Thats always a plus.
