Mold during drying. Expert advice needed!

What's up guys, long time!
I cut my pineapple skunk at the bases on the 19th, it is now the 22nd. I immediately removed the large fans and left all flowers on large stems. I have some very large colas. I got a little cocky and tried the 7/70/70 method. 70 degrees, 70 humidity, 7 days. Well here on day three upon thorough mold inspection I caught some on my larges cola where the individual flower buds meet the main stem. We all know that this method is perfect conditions for mold but I have been struggling with drying too fast and loosing pungency. That's another story. Matter at hand is, how to stop this mold in its tracks and maintain a slow dry for at least 3 more days. My initial reaction was to drop the humidity. I have a humidifier and a dehumidifier. I set the dehumidifier to 40% and the humidifier to 50% so that they will even out somewhere between these numbers. It's pouring here at this moment and the ambient humidity is 70%, this effects my conditions because my fresh air is drawn from outside. I have great airflow in my room. Should I just crank the humidity down to around 30% for a period of time and then bring it back up? I need advice from someone who has encountered this problem and has beat it.

you should have the humidifier set to 46 and the dehumidifier set to like 48
the problem might be the humidifier is shooting the excess humidity at the buds without it diffusing, so you may want to consider pointing the humidifier towards the middle of the room and making sure it has room to mix in with the rest of the air before it hits the buds
if the humidity is right, you won't need a shit ton of airflow to prevent the mold and can get away with a dull breeze, and will then give you that slow dry you're looking for

also wanted to add make sure the dehu and the humidifer are spaced far apart, you don't want the air from one tricking the humidistat on the other

Moments like this I do a water cure,
or at least dry it fast
and allow to air cure later when the air % is about 50-65%RH
if the Pm is real bad wash first in 10% bleach solution and warm water
allow to air dry at 50% Rh

If you spray the plant with Bacillus bacteria a few weeks before harvest then rot is rarely an issue

Bacillus should still work, I had some really large super oily buds a couple of years ago that I was scared may go that way so I did a freezer cure on them, but part of that was a mate being paranoid and way too stoned he saw there was some blue buds and started shouting about mold when it just looked like the kinda bud that has some blue bits to me....
