mold? or paranoia.

i grew this so i know where it came from....
and sorry peeps, no way to get a pic.
has anyone ever seen clumps of white crystals at the base of the bud where it meets the stem? ive been curing for a bout a week now and in the past 2 days ive been looking at the buds ive been smoking pretty carefully.(microscope). when i pull away the buds from the stem, looking closely i see clumps of what looks like a bunch of trichs smashed together. i dont see any powder anywhere to show that its pwdery mold, and the buds are crispy on the outside...like when i put them in jars.
could this be mold?
ive looked all over the internet but havent found any pictures or descriptions on what this could be.
what i did find was some people saying that some mold can look like trichs....
i wish i could get a pic but waaaaay to small.
it almost looks like wet coke clumped up....
help!!!

Clumps mashed together does not sound like trichs to me, but what do i know about it.

At the end of the day he asked a question in the correct section(s) and gave good info, regardless of his other thread, and i mean it's not like there are 8 of them. Not really spam. You however refused to offer any help in either other than telling him not to spam, very helpful.

if your really worried water cure them for a week that should kill any mold/ spores

i know they look ok but at the base of the bud, where the stem is, looks clumpy white. am i freakin?

I dont see any problems there at all.

If it was mould then you would get a squishy grey/brown mess when you squeeze it.

Everything there looks good to me, Sweet looking buds!

what about itty bitty webbing? white and shiny. NO sign of spider mites. ever. small problem with fungus gnats during the grow but the drying and curing is bug free....

I really cant tell an awful lot from the pics you posted but to me everything looks fine.

I dont see any webbing or clumps though in your pics.

so this is best i could do. through a micro, with my phone. this is calyx that was attached to the stem. is that mold? doesnt smell funny

Do you mean the white thing just below the clump of amber trichomes?

Or do you mean the trichomes themselves?

Either way the white thing looks a little freaky. I almost think its staring at me.


Havent seen anything like that before but doubt its anything that could potentially harm your health.

yeah man, take ur pic...the shiny clump or the stalactite thats "staring at you"!!!
looks weird most def.
if you dont mind, since ur tryin to be helpful, ask around. only have one friend here and he doesnt know either.
