To me it depends on how early. I have one troubled sativa that's a 10-12 weeker. It's having issues with rot here and there. I just cut the whole bud chunk off and let it go further and keep checking on it. I'd rather lose 10% of my harvest, compared to cutting way early and ending up with anxiety weed.Is it worth risking mold for sativa plants to gain fatness the last couple weeks, or should we cut them, and loose some weight but save the plant?
The thing to consider is if you'll lose more weight to mold than you'll gain from the extra growth. Is it worth risking mold for sativa plants to gain fatness the last couple weeks, or should we cut them, and loose some weight but save the plant?
So you are saying that the reason I have worried so much about rot is because I am smoking so much early bud. A vicious circle. To me it depends on how early. Something like that.So you are saying that the reason I have worried so much about rot is because I am smoking so much early bud. A vicious circle.
For sure. There's a narrow window of "close enough" where it's early but not premature but too early is no good. If you stay on top of pruning out the mold on a daily basis you should be able to let a good amount of the buds ripen at least most of the way.Fuck no! You fight it out. Better nothing than early harvest for me.
It's just part of the game when growing outdoors.I'm totally into risking mold
