Is moldy air from an air conditioner(I discovered lots of mold inside the air conditioner)can cause problems or stress in cannabis plants?
Im suffering from problems for 2 years and just now discovered that all the inside system of the air conditioner have mold, chunks of mold!!

Mold you breathe will probably kill you over time. Forget the weed and protect yourself. My advice is junk the thing out and get a new one. Dieing from breathing mold is not a very nice way to go.
Why junk it?i can clean it….
And what about my question?

Agree … shitcan it. Not only does it sound like mold propagated, it most likely throwing spores everywhere. Stachybotrys and similar require constant moisture for its growth.

Stachybotrys chartarum and other molds may cause health symptoms that are nonspecific. It is not necessary to determine what type of mold you may have growing in your home or other building. All molds should be treated the same with respect to potential health risks and removal.

I got it!
I will treat the unit.
But can it cause problems in the plant itself?

Mold requires water, food, and oxygen to grow. It also requires an environment with a temperature it can survive.

Mold grows on materials that it can digest – and it can digest a lot. It can metabolize virtually any organic (carbon-containing) matter in nature, making it practically impossible to remove all food sources of mold from your environment.

If you decide to “ clean “ unit - you may unknowingly expose yourself to more spores - mask up at a minimum. Not sure how far you want to chase the issue - but you may have to take things apart instead of surface cleaning.

But still you didnt answer my question….mold air that runing into the setup can make stress to plants?

If your plants are more important than your health then there's nothing I can add that will be worth writing.

But, to directly answer your question, after you grow and harvest your weed I personally wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Whether it shows up on the weed or not as far as I'm concerned the plants are contaminated.

I hope this is a direct enough answer to satisfy you. This is as far as I go with this thread. MY MAIN ADVICE IS TO LISTEN TO @Budzbuddha. He is probably one of the best on this forum to take advice from.

You did not understand me yet….i dont have mold on my plants….read my question again

If u don’t see mold the plants are fine. There’s spores everywhere all the time. But that a.c unit doesn’t need cleaning it needs thrown out. It’ll just do it again after you clean it.

Yes the moldy air in the AC can cause your bud to mold given the right conditions

Yes it can absolutely fuck up your plants, replace it, you’re not going to completely disinfect it by cleaning it. It’s also super bad for you. I’d also suggest getting a hypochlorous acid fogger to disinfect your house or ideally hiring a mold remediation contractor to inspect and if necessary disinfect your house.
