if you don't let the oats dry out enough after the boil they do get mushy after the PC cycle.

Got some 15qt tubs tonight. I tossed my last big tub cuz I let the mold grow for about 3 weeks it was pretty interesting. The fuzz goes from green into white after a while. I got some brf jars (top) and some whole oats jars(bottom) that im trying for the first time.

I usually use wbs with better colonization success but for how cheap whole oats is ill keep fucking with that till I get it down. Im also going to try these tubs with no holes after I clean the shit out of my closet.

This shit better not contam cuz im running low on spore prints and would like to make some more. Fuck buying syringes if I don't have to.

I had a buddy in college that had access to fresh ones, and let me tell you, an ounce of freshies in a blender with oj sends you to another place. They were kho samui iirc. Life changing experience. And debilitating.

Those tubs look sweet.

Ended up with 5 of my whole oat jars being contaminated so I only started one mini tub. Wife will be getting her weed card here shortly so I can start growing weed again, can't wait.

Mini tub is starting to pin. No holes in the tub just cracking the lid and just watered it today. This is whole oats. Didn't put in darkness to colonize the tub either. Just ran 12/12 lights from the beginning.

Pretty weak pin set and slow growth but its better than my last tub of mold lol. Think im going back to traditional mono tub design after this one. Got 50 pt jars knocked up.
