monster failure

I took six cuttings from a purple og after it had been in 12/12 for two weeks. Only one of them grew roots -- and they're pitiful.
Is there a trick to monster cloning?
BTW, I know what I'm doing when it comes to cloning. Had a dozen "normal" clones in the same tray & they all did great.

it take up to three weeks to get flowered cuts to root.
Some root fast, but I've done hundreds of flowered cuts, and they usually take at least two weeks

Use any root stimulation?

yea, best off a healthy mother or at least a clone.
My buddy runs a BUNCH of outdoor seeds, and never clones, so I always wander up through the garden sniffing crystals (that sounded bad huh)
Anyways, rub the trichs, and give em a smell, and if it's a special plant, clone that bitch.
I take 4 clones off each flowering donor, and I usually get 60% success or maybe 50%
compared to my normal 98% success rate on vege-cuts
Annnnnd then it take like a friggin month for the cut after it pops roots to reveg
Not the quickest way, but if you find a nice flowering mom, it's the ONLY way unless you can reveg the whole mom...
but shit... the containers outside?
those are like 250 gals.. I aint moving that inside to reveg

I took 12 cuttings 4 weeks ago off plants 18 days into flower. Took atleast two weeks to poke out roots in peat puck. Two weeks later half are going crazy. So many leaves. Half are showing a few new leaves. I will cull in 3 weeks and put the best 9 into flower

especially considering it's that whore of a plant GSC...
hated that strain... great smoke but shittty yields, grow times, and clone times..

I took some clones from 6 Sea Warp plants in the 2nd week of flower and they rooted in 7 days in rapid rooter plugs. They have been rooted for a week and look great. The mother is now in her 4th week of flower and so far this seems to be a great trouble free strain. 100% germination of the seeds, and 100% clone success. No special cloner, just rapid rooters in a tray, misted every day, not even covered. Of course I live in a warm humid climate. As a bonus the mothers have a really good leaf to bud ratio. If you're having trouble cloning I would definitely recommend this strain.

here is the thing the longer you wait to clone the flowering mother , the longer it takes to root and reveg. but with that you have a ready made scrog or sog plant . so if yield is important more than time is . then that is the way to go. cuz you can double you yield monster cropping
