this i'm pretty sure is jack herer. it came in a goldenseed mega-mix. it's the closest looking to jack that i see. i have been feeding her A LOT of guano. she is still fading. went to the 30 - 10 - 10 orchid food. gave her 2 heaping tablespoons in 2 gallons of water 4 days ago. she is still fading. time for a bigger pot.

i remove the mulch. then i partially fill the larger pot with new soil. i then set the smaller pot inside the larger. i lightly pack new soil around the edges. then remove the smaller pot leaving a hole for the root ball.

now the fun part. tipping the pot sideways and lightly tapping, i remove the beautiful girl exposing her most private areas. please respect her. thanks. she looks just a little bound. i think this will help. i remove the rocks from the bottom of the roots. then i gently "tickle" the bottom and sides to loosen the root mass. she giggled. i lost very few roots. just a couple little tips. then simply lower her into the new pot and fill around the edges.

add new mulch and lightly water. she is showing immediate shock even being as gentle as i was. notice the droopy top. i will keep an eye on her and post new pics if any abrupt changes occur.

That looks like alot of work.

i smoked 1 cigarette while i did it. took about 15 mins. i always put it off because i'm lazy. then i do it and i feel stupid for waiting so long. she will out grow this one in a month.

i just went and checked on her. she is sticking straight up now. i think the shock may be over. i've never really had a problem with it.

i have superthrive but i always forget to use it. as far as flowering. working with clones they can sometimes do odd things. i had some last year that finished in august. some of the best smoke i grew last year. i have 1 now that is being funny because i had it on 12/12 for 10 days to determine sex. 4 side branches started to flower. the rest of the plant didn't. it's still trying to right itself.

yes mine are from clone, end of feburary i believe. so they should also finish sometime in august, lol. i have another stupid question.... i have never growin in pots outside before, only the ground. off these 4 i have i would easily get 3-4 elbows in the ground. will 15 gallon pots cut that in half?

to clarify; the one i had on 12/12 was from seed. the post reads as if i was sexing a clone. not.

this is my first year growing 1 in the ground. i had a belladonna in that same green pot last year that yielded 1 lb. it seemed the smaller the pot the smaller the plant and yield. this could be good for controlling size. as you see i may come across some issues. my yard is safe but it's still suburbia. gonna end up seeing them over the roof if i'm not careful.

yes definatly, i use hemp twine and a brick to keep the height down. pull the brick a lil at a time til she is trained ten tie her off to a stake.
