I've been vegging this (chronic lights) clone for a month and its been in flower for about a week. I've mainlined her a bit and used some LST to level out the tops, its crazy after I FIMed the main top the side branch became a main cola, then the FIM didn't work but I have two main tops now its crazy, still worked out for the best haha.
My inquiry was if clones truly do grow more rapidly since there mature plants already and do the flowers grow larger?
I figure the vigor and mass of the buds go down with more side branching because that makes the stems smaller but I could be wrong, I'll find out with these clones of the clone to see if the growth is any different...
This first clone has really surprised me though!

Nice plant...shes a beauty:weed:
Clones are matured and typically can grow much faster than a seedling.
Thanks my friend I'm quite happy with her as well! This was actually an extremely small main branch from the mother it wasn't even 4 inches when I took her off!

It was crazy watching how fast she stretched and swelled I say it will probly double in size by the time shes finished...
Would you say that bigger trees like 1yr+ old could potentially have smaller more spacey buds than say one that was vegged out for 2 months with close monster colas?

My Various CBD cuttings take just over two wks for the first roots. RX is new to me and unsexed so this is going to be fun. VCBD is 100% female. If RX is male I will have a chance to mate the two. Various CBD=3:1, Sativa hybrid female. RX=? My grow stops in June...too hot. So I keep each till fall and start again. This little one is Durban.

Does this mean the buds could get fatter than the mother plant? I flowered her early about the same size as this one, and got about 3ozs!
Just depends on spacing between nodes smaller space means tighter bud clusters. Genetics and light condition also factor in as well.
Its all an experiment...once they are developing you will see if there was a difference. Lol

Thanks for the help yall, yeah the nodes are really tight spaced on this strain I really like its growth pattern and resistance to stress and fertalizer, its an easy grow and high yielding for me! The reason being I had a bubblegum top44 strain and it was over 10ft but yielded less than an oz lmao real fluffy spaced buds, but it could have been the growing conditions as well since it was kinda in a shady area of a forest...
