What I think is ignorant is completely discounting a theory before the experiment. Why not let the guy do his thing and find out for sure? 100 years ago the idea of going to the moon was considered "straight up ignorant." For all we know, he could be the Neil Armstrong of indoor growing.

Aslo, tybuds, how exactly do you simulate the moon? What kind of light and where?

well i dont havemuch time to defend myself against Punk. by the way...good name.. fits you..

I use the same LED light that is used for moonlighting my aquarium. so far, which I want to get more technical as funds and ideas come together, I just have it on an opposite timer. the light allows me the ability to use 1/3, 1/2 and full. so i go threw phases similar to nature.

AND PUNK.. i never claimed that it prevented hermies. I said it MAY help because when your 12 hours of dark is interupted it stresses plant and creates hermie so in theory with the little moonlight on during dark. less chance of fa little light getting threw turning you fem into a hermie.

Room temperature implies a temperature inside a temperature-controlled room IE my growroom. Ambient temperature simply means "the temperature of the surroundings". what surroundings.. of the room... or my house??

You Do not make sense

I use an Air temp controller. so in dark period my growroom drops lower then my day temp. also a bit lower than my house temp.

so what else do you want to act like you know Mr Punk....

They dont do that here at Rolitup. They like belittling you and telling you haw smart they are. Us new growers have alot of questions and maybe Ideas. Some may sou d dumb but so did the airplane and loon how that went. Keep doing your experiment and I look forward to what you find out.
