Hi I live in grass lake township and I want to get my caregivers license, but apparently they passed a moratorium for 6 months or somthing, but i cant seem to find what it restricts or what it does... Could somebody please explain to me what this means, and can i still legally get my caregivers card and grow? Thanks!

a moratorium can be passed for a number of things. What it means is, that something is disabled from being carried out for a set amount of time. In my area we have a moratorium on dispensaries. This means no dispensaries can open, legally in this area. Since elected officials can't vote on whether or not you need medical cannabis, i'm sure you can get your scrip.

ok so does this mean i can get my medical marijuanna card and just grow for myself? this moratorium was supposed to be over like a month ago but they havent posted anything on it yet, as other counties around me had moratoriums established around the same time and now have set guidelines and laws for it...

I'm almost positive you can do exactly that. But without knowing what this moratorium is on, i cannot say for certain. You need to do some research, make some phone calls, google, whatever. Find out what the moratorium is banning. If one was passed there must be info out on it

Call the twp offices to see what the moratorium does. Odds are is is against dispensaries and not individual growers.
