More light or better temps?

I have a small tent with a dimmable HPS. Would it be better to give more light with higher heat (400w for 6 square feet at 85F) or less light and more ideal temps (300w at 79F). This is for flowering

lower temps especially for late flowering to simulate fall temps. i would run it at 400w for the first month then drop it back down

i see people having trouble with the really small tents and heat control. it might be beneficial to run ac or a bigger vent fan. it would be ideal to have at least 40w per square foot for indica 60w for sativa dom plants and try to keep those temps under 80

Id go with the cooler temps. The taste and tightness of the buds will decrease with 85f temps but the yield increases with 85f temp due to sucking up so much more water. Id trade some yield for higher quality anyday.

Thanks all for the input, I'll aim for lower temps then. It actually still gets up to 81 at 300w, and until I added a booster fan it was getting up to 91. I really need to invest in a bigger tent and a proper inline
