Here's how I would combat that problem, considering I deal with the same issue, but live on the side of a hill that blocks the fall sun.. so even worse:
Mount a greenhouse on top of an old travel trailer frame, flat bed, or boat trailer, etc. Then you have mobility to move the plants to the best locations as the sun moves.
Also, this app:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sun-seeker-tracker-compass/id330247123
is awesome for planning OD grows! You hold the camera up and point it wherever you want, and it shows where the sun is going to be any time of the year, even behind object like trees, and on the other side of the earth.
I don't grow much outdoors anymore due to my location sucks, and the sunniest spots away from the mountain and trees are down by the road/neighbors. But If I do a mobile greenhouse trailer like I plan too, I could possibly pull it off. I got the frame already and greenhouse to install on it. I've already tracked a slow moving path to move the trailer along by using the app. Not like moving it 2 times a day, but just once every week or so. If I wanted the best possible sunlight all day, I'd have to build a mini train track going around the property, with little train cars for each plant. Haha... Otherwise light depping is my only other good option.
Maybe next year i'll have a mobile automated light dep greenhouse ready to rock.
