As well, in aggressively defending the actions of CSIS and trying to prevent the release of thousands of unredacted documents that a judge is now poring over, the Liberals are going further than their Conservative predecessors did to protect CSIS sources.

Lawyers for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government are seeking retroactive blanket anonymity for spies and their sources and have filed an appeal in a civil lawsuit launched by the three men with that goal in mind. A Conservative bill last year, C-44, which enacted source protection, was not made retroactive

Tell me more about how the Liberals and Trudeau are different than Harper?

What's fascist or draconian about keeping weed away from kids again? As with anything, there is a balance between the needs and wants of one group and the needs and wants of society as a whole. Everything from speed limits, to alcohol use, to wearing pants in public, is dictated to you by society and the laws that govern it. I still can't wrap my head around calling a government fascist for promising to end prohibition. How does that work exactly..

what you need to ask your self is what did harper actually do in office i know nothing lets see here the west to east pipe line is closer to being done then all the years harper was in office makes sense ??? and lets not get into harper held parliament in contempt only pm ever to do so so please sit down ??? before you get schooled in politics in a non political section

Yet you never, not once, called out Harper for his anti-pot stance? According to you, Harper is exactly like Trudeau yet we heard nothing from your pea-sized brain until it became clear the Liberals were going to win. Why is that? Perhaps it is you who should be looking in the mirror or be seeking help for your disillusions.
