The main thing is awareness and it's good to see you've double checked and stay well within guidelines. Here is a typical fluorescent bulb that many of us will have in our homes. You can see the spikes at approximately 405nm, 365nm, 315nm and even 255nm (UVC!). There is more UV than cyan in these bulbs. The irradiance level is still very low because these are low powered lights of around 15W.

hard to say without the specs on the bulb you're usingJust jumped back on this thread to work something out and was hoping to confirm some of the results. It looks like the high uvb could increase cbd? Basically I need to do a run of high cbd low THC and the evidence seems to say that if I run my old reptile uvb bulb on 12 hour it could optimise my results as I don’t need thc?
We're not exactly sure why this happened. My hypothesis is that more CBGA is being synthasised into CBDA than THCA. Or it could be that the UVB is breaking the THC down into CBN whilst not affecting CBD as much. I'm leaning towards the first hypothesis and I think I may have seen some evidence of thise elsewhere but I have to find it.Just jumped back on this thread to work something out and was hoping to confirm some of the results. Just curious, why don't you just grow very low THC and high CBD strains. I've grown several over the years with UV and without. I didn't find an appreciable difference using UV. I was using 4ft SolarCure FlowerPower bulbs along with a 900 watt Timber Phatty COB LED. I cycled the UV to run 15 mins per hour over 12 hours. I didn't have my grows tested. However, I can say that I did not get a noticeable high off what I grew.Just jumped back on this thread to work something out and was hoping to confirm some of the results. I will be growing a high cbd low THC strain, I was curious about maximising the cbd as much as I can. I thought from the results more uvb might help push things for me in the same way uva can help thc. If it makes 14% instead of 12% it’s worth a tryJust curious, why don't you just grow very low THC and high CBD strains. I've grown several over the years with UV and without. Sure, I understand. As I mostly vape my CBD buds, I wanted to maximize taste, frost and of course CBD levels.I will be growing a high cbd low THC strain, I was curious about maximising the cbd as much as I can.
