60mg Morphine tablets, assuming they are the small orange circular tablets, are indeed time-released. I naturally have a large tolerance to just about any pharmaceutical so insufflating an entire 60mg morphine tablet does the trick. Place the pill in your mouth, holding it with your fingers, and "lick" the time released coating off of it. Keep checking it until a white pill remains. Crush into fine powder and insufflate. A truly empathetic, relaxing, sociable experience.

if u guys really want to get fucked up on morphine, get a morphine patch put as much of the goo on some tinfoil, and straight freebase it. Only did it once and it was the only time I actually couldn't feel myself poking myself. It reminded me of WW2 movies where a guy gets shot the hell up and the medics shoot him up with morphine and he becomes calm in the midst of heavy gun fire...

Those aren't morphine pills, they're Dilaudid (hydromorphone). One of the best opioids for recreation. Though they have a patheticly low oral bioavailability (around 20% iirc), snorting isn't much better. On the other hand they're stronger than heroin by about 3:1 mg for mg. Always look up pills you don't recognize. If those had been Opana IRs (oxymorphone) you could have killed yourself snorting a single pill (the smaller dose is eqv to ~60mg of oxycodone, a very big dose for someone without a tolerance).
Also morphine patches are actually fentanyl patches. Don't fuck with fent unless you have a real opioid tolerance. It's almost 100x morphines potency. Even spent patches can kill people.
If you're going to take opioids familiarize yourself with their preparations. I'm glad this one didn't kill anyone. Be safe, which means be smart and don't ingest unkown substances!

Yeah those are dilaudid pills. They're pretty useless unless you IV them.

Rather have hydrocodone if I was in pain.

Someone beat me to it - that isn't morphine. Another story from the the Canndo arcives - once, long ago, someone who had some connection to a particular pharmacy managed to coopt some "shakers" - purportedly morphine in a pill like form that would instantly and totaly disolve in sterile water in order to be injected. This also meant that it disolved instantly in the nasal passages - what fun!


Be careful folks, opiods misused can indeed encourage you to simply stop breathing.
