I need one of these. I am so building one. $30 gets you the turbine version kit in this video. No lic. needed to fly it in the US as it is under 242lbs and is an ultralight heli!

that sweet , i gotta have one:mrgreen:

I've got a nice quicksilver ultralight that needs new sails. Was my brothers but he croaked so now i guess it's mine.

Flying is the best. I was 10 hours into lessons before I quit because of some unforeseen circumstances. And I would love to have that thing. Or a fixed wing ultralight but vertical take off and landing would be handy.

I was talking to a guy who used to be a crop duster. Said he'd be up there smoking a joint. I find that kinda hard to believe. If you could spray crops while high and not die you've accomplished something. I still don't understand why he told me that. I didn't know him. He was the first guy to put off road tires on Segways. He did let me drive one.

Lmao you better have professionals put it together... I see tons of those home built fuckers. Only 1 was done right, everything else looked like a flying washing machine.

I can see myself having allot of fun with this thing :D
Hell yeah man! I am going to order the first kit ($10,000) here in January. Gonna get started! I was going to build a late model mustang, but fuck it! I want a Heli!

For 50k, they will factory finish it with engine for you..... you should spend the extra 20k if it is your first build.

Heli's are much safer than planes if there is a mechanical breakdown in the air. Planes will nose dive... helis won't. If you have a major malfunction in a piece of aviation.... you have a better chance of walking away from the heli than a plane.

Absolutely, I may look into that.

There are videos of 1000+ft engine off auto-rotations. These things float down like feathers - fully maneuverable the whole way.
