Currently i am growing dwc, i change out my reservoir once a week, i generally take it out of the wardrobe, set it on two milk creates and pull the plug to let the water drain into a bucket.

Now the PL's are a good 3 feet tall which makes it way difficult to move them in and out of the wardrobe, also they are 2 1/2 weeks into flower and i really want to not stress them out as little as possible.

Whats your guys advice? What do you do?

I have a home made ebb/flow system, and to drain the reservoir I use an extra pump (the same pump that I use to fill the upper reservoir) that I toss in when I want to drain the water.

On my aero systems, I put in a T fitting in the line running up to the manifold. From there I install a horizontal piece of PVC with a garden hose adapter on the end. Place bucket on floor, connect garden hose, turn on main pump, voilà!

I use a 5 gal bucket to fill and refill my big totes since I can't lift 20 gal of water.

I made a little PVC frame that I set the lid w/ plants on while I'm doing all this. Bitches are three feet tall too, so I've got to unzip the whole front of the tent to get them out cleanly.

I have a hole close to the bottom on the side of my Res. with a rubber grommet in it a peace of pvc with a pvc ball valve and a hose adapter on it I put a small hose on it attached to a small pump with a long hose on it that goes to the bathroom put the hose in the sink open the valve and turn on the pump.Don't need to move any thing except the valve handle, pump switch, and the hose

Thanks for all the advice, im def gonna probably just buy a water pump to do it, I was going to try rosemans method and pull the hub off my current water pump and use that but the fucker is clogged or something and by this point the roots are so tangeled around it i would be way to worried about damaging all the roots.
