Finally a reasonable temp here, and by that I mean that it was below zero for nearly a month, finally able to get my heat and humidity in my basement veg room to the vpd to turn up the lights. Now that they are responding... chopping their heads tomorrow to start mainlining!

Note for myself for future grows.... don't crank up the leds in the peak of the winter freeze .... you idiot lol

Day 30 from germ. Today was the day I decided to top and start the mainline process. Not gonna lie I am very nervous taking this much off these little plants, it kinda kills me to chop them up lol I know I'm a dork. Anyway. I topped them all at the third node leaving just a little bit above. I then took off most of the mower stuff leaving only the 2 nodes ans about 4 fan leaves. This is following the old ass og mainline thread tech. I then top dressed them with worm castings and then bran that I moistened with em1. I will let them recover a bit then on to the next step ans pulling down the two tops that are formed and chopping the bottom rung. I really hope I dont regret chopping these ladies up! Also note to self the plants in fabric pots close to the heater are going to need water prior to the others. Those three got plain phed water today also.

This next week or 2 might be annoying for anyone watching because I will be posting boring veg pics everyday to try to track my progress at mainlining so I can have more confidence next go round... or show myself, never do this again you moron hahaha either way!

2 days from topping number 1. Perking up! No need to water again yet mulch is doing its job! In the mainline thread the OP keeps the 2 lowest branches and uses them for clones... I suck at cloning but a skill I need to perfect so ill try again.

For my own documentation on watering. 9 have not watered since I topped them and watered the 2 plants nearest the heat source. I moved them away from. The heat source and have not needed to add water. I did however briefly spray the mulch on top yesterday to keep it moist.

I missed one day of pics growing back after the initial defoliation. But we moved on to step 2 today... and wow I think I might have went to far! We will see what happens this week.

I took the bottom 2 branches on each plant as clones and set up the tent with some small (around 3 and 4 inch) pots with half happy frog and half worm castings wet with some phed water and yucca. I numbered and labeled each plant and put the clones in an aloe and water solution to soak. Then I topped my 2 mains for 4 mains and chopped the shit out of the leafs lol.

I tried to bend one to tie it down but they are already so compact that it started to break so I said no dice there.

After everyone was pruned I gave them the rest of the yucca water on top. I will water thoroughly tomorrow. Hope in another week or less we top for the final time! Before and after shots below.
