Mothballs and stockings?

Had a great idea last night while at work. I know many growers swear by using mothballs as a repellant for animals. Well I also know many growers are concerned about the chemicals in the mothballs seeping into the ground and polluting the grow.

Well here was my solution:
one pair of brown stockings

one box of mothballs

I tore the stockings down the middle poured the mothballs in it then tied it shut. Hung it from a tree abou 4 to 5 feet off the ground. The tree prevents rain water from washing the chemicals into the ground and the mothballs are effective at a longer range because now the scent can be carried by the air.

Never heard of this and felt it was ingenius.

Just got back from my 10 plant plot, trying this out at my plot.

LOL deff ingenius that why i started doing it about 5 years ago. I also add a few shavings of soap and a few hair clippings and believe it or not but pubic and domestic Dog hair works the best. bag it all together hang it then piss on it. you will never have animal problems agian. except for maybe squirrls they straight dont give a damn about whats out there. they will dig your shit up just in a search for what you buried not realizing they just dug up the plants you put down. Fuckin bastards.

With out a cage here its 100 % death in under a week lol.

I tried soap, hair, piss shit, fox urine, moth balls, deer repelent spray, cat shit an all failed.

My cages must have root protection or they just dig under the fence, an top wired shut to keep deer out, an be small enough to keep out a mouse (about 1/4 in squrare is what im using)

Check out my faild attempts an camo\cage design evoloution in my video journal link in my sig.
Maybe it will help you out.

Yeah i can believe the pubic hair, unless you live in an area were deer are used to human presence this should work great. Pubic hair has a lot of smelly body oders and oils stronger than what your hair has. And most deer stay far away from human scents.

Sounds like a good idea. Ive already had deer strip several of my seedlings. For some reason they left my clones alone.

I need to hang at least one of these.

I'm working on some kind of snail prevention at the moment. Snails seem to love the ganja.
Copper rings man. Just find some old elec wire and strip it to the bare copper and bury it in a 6 or 8 in ring around the plant about 2 inches down. or 6 cm for those on the standard side of things. deff works.

I've got some rodent problems at the moment. Something dug all my plants up 24 hours after i planted them. They did not damage the plants, they just dug them up like it thought I buried something in the holes.

Replanted them, but couldn't check them today, hopefully they don't do it again.

Little cocksuckers better not do it agian. I'm gonna get some plastic rollout fence and spray paint it green, then place it over my plants. The ones I put out were just colnes of a bag seed female I started a couple months back. Waiting on my Mango seeds in the post.
