Mother Keeper Grow Tent Complete Kit

Hi All,

I posted on here a few days ago. I recently purchased the complete kit by Mother Keeper Grow Tents. When I posted that I planned to use the lights that are provided with the kit in my first grow a few people commented that it would be fine for the veg stage but not for the flowering. (4 ft. 4 Lamp High Output T5 Grow Light). I have since purchased the following to go long with the lights that are included with the Mother Keeper Tent. See description of light below:

Low heat, energy efficient light bulbs for use with Stealth Hydro Dual Spectrum Lighting Systems. These spiral compact fluorescent lights are specially made for Stealth Hydro by the manufacturer and emit an amazing 2800 lumens per bulb; do not be fooled by cheap imitations. Available in vegetative (blue) and flowering (red) spectrums.

I purchased two of the red bulbs mentioned above for the flowering stage. My question is will two of these lights along with the lights provided with the Mother Keeper Grow Tent Kit be enough for the flowering stage? I am planning on growing 3-4 plants of White Widow if that is helpful.

the light standard for flowering is 6,000 lumens per square foot of growing area.

The original kit came with Four 6500K T5 High Output Grow Bulbs. I have 8 square feet of area to cover. Should I not have added any of the CFL's that I stated above?

you probably need more. it depends on the lumen output of the t5 grow bulbs. if you don't know the lumens you can estimate it by multiplying the total wattage of the bulbs by 65 lumens/watt. add the lumens from the cfl's to the t5 lumens and divide that total by 8 and you have your lumens per square foot.

The more the marry

This Mother Keeper system emits 20,000 lumens. How many more lights would I need? Considering I added the two other CFL lights that would put me at 25,600.So I guess I still need to add more lights for a 8 square foot area?

i use t-5 for flowering with no problem but i use an eight bulb and add more cfls during flowering to add more lumens.

at least another 10,000 lumens
