hello
I am just wondering about a few things and im hoping you could answer them for me.
i would like to keep a mother plant but am unsure about the soil part of it. when i go to the local garden store they have alot of soil but a lot of it contains nutes that feeds the plant for "up to 6 months"..i though i wanted to stay away from that kind of soil, right?..i am not near any place that sells foxfarms or any other high quality soils..
so i figured i would just get a bag of scotts top soil and mix it with perlite until it was light..the part im confused on is, if i had good foxfarm soil i wouldnt have to add nutes for a long time, right?..so if i get top soil and perlite would i have to buy some kind of organic ferts?..or could i feed her plain water for many months first?
i am open to any advise on mixing a good soil mix that i can find at a local store...i also need to know a good feeding scedule to use in that soil"for the mother plant"..i would hate to burn her right at the start.
the clones i would be taking would not be growing organic if that helps any
